Our marketing team is looking for an LDR to join our growing department. The LDR qualifies inbound leads against the existing qualification criteria and delivers qualified leads that meet that criteria to the Rootstock sales team.

This is a remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify assigned leads from marketing campaigns as “Sales Accepted” Leads.
  • Field incoming chat and inbound sales calls and enter those that qualify as leads into Salesforce.
  • Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails.
  • Work in cooperation with sales, as directed by the senior marketing program manager, to support in-market prospecting and opportunity identification and other ABM related activity.
  • Hand off qualified sales leads to the appropriate sales rep and brief him/her on company background, qualifications and next steps.
  • Maintain a record of all interactions within SalesLoft and Salesforce CRM and other tools as needed.
  • Participate in sales meetings, first calls with prospects, online training and other related activities in order to strengthen knowledge of Rootstock’s products, prospects, customers and process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with business development in a B2B setting highly desired.
  • Previous experience with selling or supporting sales or marketing efforts for enterprise software solutions is a strong nice to have
  • Experience in and understanding of manufacturing and manufacturing best practices desired
  • Previous experience with Salesforce CRM, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Navigator, or similar productivity/research tools desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ; ability to successfully communicate with various stakeholders regarding technology value propositions, features and benefits.
  • Strong work ethic and advanced organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with tight schedules and in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
  • Must be able to work in a virtual team environment and open to supporting marketing and sales initiatives as needed
