This is a remote position, based in the United States.

Summary:

The Sales Development Manager is a proven contributor with great energy and initiative to build a team, sales development processes, create demand and increase sales pipeline. The SD Mgr. formulates and executes a strategy to maximize demand generation. This role works in partnership with Sales and Marketing, and Partner Alliances, therefore cross-company engagement and orchestration is essential. The SD Mgr. is a high impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results and is responsible for managing a high performing team meeting and exceeding team objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all teams (IB and OB) to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly lead generation targets
  • Inspire the team to create repeatable, predictable, pipeline from select accounts
  • Make sure that leads / pipeline generated is high quality and meets average close rates by Sales
  • Reinforce and drive the Sales Development objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Operations
  • Track market, industry, and economic factors that drive adoption trends in target customers
  • Represent the Sales Development organization in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Deploy new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure proper alignment of resources and effective utilization of skill sets within each geo
  • Recruit and develop top talent, according to business requirement
  • Diligent use of Salesforce CRM to track all performance, leads, activities, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 5+ years of progressive people management
  • Experience leading successful sales development organizations in B2B and SaaS markets
  • A proven track record of consistently overachieving quotas for pipeline generation
  • Demonstrated success with the following technology solutions: Marketing Automation, CRM (Salesforce), Sales Engagement (SalesLoft), and Data Enrichment (zoominfo), etc.
  • Proficiency in Account Based Marketing (ABM) methodologies
  • A history of recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
  • Previous success as a successful individual contributor in inside sales or field sales is an advantage
  • Intuitive, tenacious, and competitive
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience in both mid-market and large enterprise is a plus.
  • SDR Experience in the salesforce.com ecosystem is a plus.
  • Experience positioning SaaS is a plus.
