This is a remote position based in the United States.


The Field Marketing and Events Manager reports to the VP of Growth Marketing and is responsible for in-person and virtual events and activities to support our pipeline targets.


  • Define, plan, and deliver the corporate event and field marketing strategy for Rootstock
  • Manage Rootstock’s North American tradeshows (6 per year) including negotiating sponsorships, managing logistics, implementing booth messaging and design, developing pre and post strategies, and more.
  • Develop and execute a field plan to build awareness and loyalty with regional activities (3-6/quarter) – lunch and learns, cocktail happy hours, dinners and more
  • Support the execution of a virtual webinar and produce demo strategy (min. 1 per month)
  • Work hand in hand with our event agency to support the execution of corporate events such as the Rootedin Customer Conference and SKO events
  • Develop and operationalize event performance metrics utilizing Salesforce and Hubspot
  • Work closely with our international marketing team to maintain consistency across all show properties
  • Ensure event strategies & themes align with overall company & marketing objectives and essentially driving pipeline
  • Purchase and manage the inventory of all show related materials including booth signage, a/v equipment and giveaways.


  • 5+ years of marketing experience executing events
  • High attention to detail and project organization
  • Hands-on experience working tradeshows
  • Ability to collaborate well with content, creative, and campaign teams to execute on plans
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, initiative, motivation with a hands-on, “get it done” attitude
